Air Force and stakeholders plant mangroves propagules in San Miguel

Philippine Air Force – Tactical Operations Wing West (TOW West) led by its Wing Commander, BGen. Rene S. Diaz and its stakeholders, joined hands in an activity aimed at providing better environment for future generation.

Early this morning, a total of 320 mangrove seedlings were planted in Kalayaan Beach Resort, Barangay San Miguel, this city.

The Mangrove Planting Activity is in connection with the celebration of TOW West 47th Founding Anniversary.

1Lt. Rufina Phainaa Sabello, Public Information Officer said that this activity is made possible with the help of the City Government, City ENRO, Kiwanis Club of Young Professionals, JCI Puerto Princesa Oil, Palawan Sound Organization and more

“Nagpapasalamat po kami sa mga nakiisa sa activity natin at patunay lamang ito na hindi lang pang warfare ang mga sundalo at kami sa Air Force but tumutulong din kami dito sa mga Palaweño and most especially sa pag-protekta at pangangalaga sa ating kalikasan,” Sabello said in an interview of Palawan Daily News during the activity.

Meanwhile, two more activities in connection with PAF – TOW West anniversary will be done in the following days which includes an Outreach Program and Static Display.
