Epekto ng la ñina, mararamdaman mula enero hanggang marso

Ayon sa ulat ng PAGASA, umiiral na ang La Niña sa tropical Pacific. Ang La Niña ay isang natural na phenomenon na may epekto sa panahon ng bansa, kung saan nagdadala ito ng mas maraming ulan kaysa karaniwan.

Mga Posibleng Epekto ng La Niña:
Matitinding pag-ulan
Maaaring magdulot ng pagbaha, lalo na sa mabababang lugar.
Posibleng magkaroon ng landslide o pagguho ng lupa sa mga bulubunduking rehiyon.

Pamumuo ng mga sama ng panahon.

Tumataas ang posibilidad ng mas maraming bagyo na maaaring mabuo o pumasok sa Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Mas madalas at mas malalakas na ulan ang mararanasan, lalo na mula Enero hanggang Marso ngayong taon.
Upang makatiyak siguraduhing may sapat na suplay ng pagkain, tubig, gamot, at iba pang pangangailangan.
Samantala patuloy na subaybayan ang mga ulat ng panahon mula sa PAGASA at iba pang ahensya.

Huwag magpunta sa mga lugar na madaling bahain o maaaring gumuho. Maghanda ng evacuation plan para sa pamilya at makipag-ugnayan sa mga lokal na awtoridad.

Ang La Niña ay hindi dapat balewalain dahil maaari itong magdulot ng malaking pinsala sa mga ari-arian at kaligtasan ng mamamayan. Mahalaga ang pagiging alerto at maagap upang mapanatiling ligtas ang lahat.
