“Age gracefully.” This is the common reason of people who decide to go under the knife for physical enhancements.

In Palawan, the Island Doctors Aesthetic Clinic is an aesthetic surgery center in Puerto Princesa that specializes in cosmetic procedures. The clinic opened 2 years ago to cater to the need of Palaweños for aesthetic cosmetic surgeries like rhinoplasty, liposuction, ang cheek augmentation among others. The Island Doctors Aesthetic Clinic is owned by Dr. Eugene R. Agustin, a surgeon by practice. Dr. Agustin studied cosmetic surgery as a subspecialty and went through four years of training to hone his skills further.

“When I was an ENT practitioner, my patients used to ask me if I also do rhinoplasty or nose enhancements. I did basic procedures back then, but as time went on, I saw the need for aesthetic surgery centers here in the province. That was when I decided to enroll and study cosmetic surgery,” Dr. Agustin explained.

“My professional training focused not only on surgical procedures but also on non-surgical ones. I saw it as an opportunity because clients who are afraid to undergo surgery still have ways to improve their physical appearances, minus the knife,” Dr. Agustin further discussed.

The Island Doctors Aesthetic Clinic emphasizes the development of cosmetic surgery procedures. The clinic’s previous clients expressed satisfaction as the procedures done to them rendered natural-looking results. Cosmetic surgeons also gather weekly to discuss recent advancements to continuously deliver quality services.

“The pandemic is also a good opportunity for us to take care of ourselves. We were all busy with our everyday lives back then but the pandemic also taught us to be mindful of our well-being. This is the time that we can reward ourselves for all the hard work that we did. Come to Island Doctors Aesthetic Clinic. Here, we are always at your service,” Dr. Agustin expressed.

Despite being new, the Island Doctors Aesthetic Clinic already served a number of clients who come from various municipalities in Palawan. Dr. Agustin further plans to include his clinic as a medical tourism establishment that caters to tourists who wish to beautify themselves while enjoying their stay in paradise.
