Being truthful, honest and transparent could be the easiest things to say than done, but for the letter sender nicknamed Mark, he is facing the biggest questions that trouble him a lot: “Am I going to tell my fiancée that I have my old secret love affair? And that I am gay?”

Palawan Daily’s newest one-hour program Istoryahe presents Lovelines is anchored by Ate Hanna Talabucon and Kuya Lexter Jude Hangad featuring several episodes and series of stories from letter senders coming from Palawan and abroad, including Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).

The show has its very own resident mental health counselor Greg Naldo who provided advise on how to manage emotional concerns and needs of the letter sender.

Aside from Naldo, there are other counselors including spiritual and legal counsels who will be named later on. They are the subject matter experts who are in the position to provide professional guidance and advise to the letter senders including the viewers and listeners of the program.

“Medyo nakakagulat. Emotional suppression ang nangyayari ngayon sa letter sender natin, which is masasabi sya na good sya in a way kasi na recognize na may something na dapat syang i-address. So na admit nya ang mali nya kasi ‘yan ang first step na dapat nyang gawin to resolve a problem. But I think it’s more of emotional suppression, which is sabihn natin sa case nya, may kinalaman sa kaniyang identity,” Naldo said during the pilot episode responding to the letter sender’s concern.

He added that it is good to note that the letter sender has recognized that he has a problem and it’s a good step on knowing what’s next, but when this can’t be resolved could potentially lead to depression and other clinical problems later on.

The show is aired live every Friday at 1 – 2 in the afternoon via Facebook Page of Palawan Daily and published on YouTube and in Palawan Daily’s podcast channel.
