PRC releases new schedule for LET, other licensure exams

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has released new schedules for March-June 2020 Licensure Examinations that were postponed due to the implementation of the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) in almost all areas of the Philippines.

Based on an article posted on the PRC website, the Commission informed the public that new schedules for the different licensure exams in the country have been released as determined by its Resolution No. 1237, s. 2020.

For Licensure Exams for Professional Teachers (LEPT) that supposedly conducted last March 29, 2020, of which the Province of Palawan is one of the testing centers, will be conducted on Sept. 27, 2020. And aside from Palawan, in Mimaropa Region, it would also be done simultaneously in Occidental Mindoro, and Romblon; also in all regional offices of PRC, and in NCR, Zamboanga, Bacolod, Dumaguete, Catanduanes, Catarman, Kidapawan, Tawi-tawi and Jolo Sulu.

As for the LET, the PRC advises that those already applied for March 2020 need not to reapply while those who are going to take the September 2020 LET should apply online starting June 1 to July 29, 2020. This is also true to other licensure examinations applicants.

“Those applicants who already have filed their application for examination and issued the Notice of Admission (NOA) will no longer be required to file a new application,” the PRC says.

While the Criminology Licensure Exams that is also regularly conducted in the Province of Palawan is set on Nov. 29, 30 and Dec. 1, 2020; also the Dental Hygienists’ written exams will be conducted on Nov. 24, 2020; the Dental Hygienists’ practical exams on Nov. 25, 2020; the Dentists’ written exams will be on Dec. 2-4, 2020 and the Dentists’ practical exams is on Dec. 15-22, 2020.

The other schedules are, for Architects, it is set on Oct. 30 and November 1, 2020, for Certified Public Accountants will be on Oct. 11, 12 and 18; for Chemical Engineers will be on Oct. 1, 2 and 4, 2020 while the Civil Engineers will be on Nov. 15 and 16, also this year.

For Electronics Engineers, the exams will be on Oct. 25-26, 2020; for Electronics Technicians will be on Oct. 27, 2020; for Medical Technologists, it will be on Aug. 30-31, 2020; for Midwives, it is set on Nov. 8-9, 2020; for nurses, it will be on Nov. 22-23, 2020; for pharmacists will be on Dec. 13-14, 2020; for the Qualifying Assessment for Foreign Medical Professional (QAFP) will be on June 5, 2020 (for March 2020 QAFP Examinees) while the exams for Physicians will be done on Sept. 13, 14, 20, and 21 of which, Sept. 20 and 21 have been allotted for March 2020 Examinees.

For Registered Electrical Engineers, the exams will be conducted on Sept. 3 and 4, 2020; for Registered Master Electricians will be on Sept. 6, while the schedules for Interior Design and Environmental Planner are to be announced.
