Chief execs, DILG personnel infected with COVID-19

About 4,801 Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) personnel as well as the local chief executives were infected with COVID-19, Interior Secretary Eduard Año disclosed over “Talk to the People”.

The total number of active cases as per Secretary Año are as follows: (98) DILG central and regional offices, (4,015) Philippine National Police, (60) National Police Commission, (471) Bureau of Fire Protection), (91) Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, (10) Local Government Academy, (13) Philippine Public Safety College, (13) Philippine Commission for Women, (1) National Commission for Muslim Filipinos, (4) National Youth Commission, (4) governors), and (21) mayors.
