The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) is in need of contact tracers with starting salary of P18, 000 nationwide.
The agency confirmed that applications have been starting to open in all their regional offices in line to give a more comprehensive approach in contact tracing to help control the spread of the COVID19 virus.
In a social media post published by the official page of the DILG MIMAROPA Region, applicants must at least have a bachelor’s degree in any allied medical course or criminology with professional eligibility none required.
However, aspiring applicants need to possess a skill in data gathering, willing to interview COVID19 patients and their close contacts, and must be an advocate of public health.
Training is also none required, accoring to the agency.
Any aspiring applicants must pass an application letter or letter with intent, Personal Data Sheet (PDS) or resume, a drug test result and an NBI clearance.
According to DILG Palawan Provincial Director Virgilio Tagle, in a phone interview with Palawan Daily today, September 16, local applicants must submit their application and other required documents through their sub-offices in the respective 23 municipalities in the province with the help of their Municipal Local Government Officers (MLGO).
Tagle believes that this measure will help in fast tracking all possible COVID cases and addressing it as soon as possible in order to stunt the uprising cases and further stop the spread the virus.
Sa contact tracing kasi nakasalalay,” Tagle said.
