“With more services as you saw a while ago it’s a comprehensive holistic approach yung cancer center po natin bringing in advocates, stakeholders, NGOs the government as well, PCSO, Philhealth para mas comprehensive yung gamutan natin ng cancer,” ayon kay Dr. Tovera.

“Mayroon na po akong knowledge diyan kasi napag meeting-an na po ng board ng Ace Medical Center Palawan yung BRCA Mutation Testing that will costa patient ₱50,000.00 sobrang baba po niyan compare the one they charged sa Manila which more than ₱200,000.00,” dagdag pa nito.

“Yung OncoPanel and Colorectal which is a minimum of 4 genes, yung lung install genes in Manila that is also cost ₱150,000.00 to ₱300,000.00 but here we can make it available to patients here in our community at around ₱70,000.00. Mahal po talaga but knowing the abnormal genes in the patient it’sthe best way to treat cancer.”

“Number one po because of this partnership we ask to reduce price from out partner from the international community and number two [2] we really need to establish leakages of our partnership with our local counterparts it’s just knowing what they can help actually to our patients. We might be able to look for solutions on how we will be able to reduce further burden ng mga patients natin dito sa ating community.”

“Pilipinas Shell Foundation is also a partner, the organization was already there years back and they are helping patients with cancer lalong-lalo na yung mga nangangailangan po lalo na yung mga nasa marginalize in the society as I say and this are the focus talaga ng ating PCSO, PSWD, the local government, provincial government and the palawan cancer support group.”
