Another drug personality was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by the joint personnel of Coron PNP and Regional Mobile Force Batallion in Sinamay, Barangay Poblacion 1, Coron.
The suspect was identified as Jaypee Cabading Gutierrez (a.k.a. JP Hito, Palos and Lupin), 19 years old, also a resident of the said barangay where he was arrested.
Investigation revealed that suspect Gutierrez allegedly sold two pieces of plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu for one thousand pesos to a poseur-buyer during the buy-bust operation done few kilometers away from Coron Municipal Police Station.
Authorities also recovered from the suspect after the body search ten pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sached containing allegedly shabu, two pieces (2000) Indonesian currency, cigarette, disposable lighter, one-unit Apple tablet and one-unit laptop.
The suspect and the evidences recovered were now under the custody of Coron MPS for proper disposition and is subjected for a case in violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
