Another person was injured in the accident. He was identified as Sikan Gali, also a resident of Sitio Bulisong, Barangay Burirao, Narra, Palawan, and was also a backrider of Luntad.

The multicab, on the other hand, was driven by Bernard Regenio, 33 years old, married, carpenter without driver’s license and a resident of Barangay Poblacion, Aborlan, Palawan.

Police investigation revealed that Luntad was driving his motorcycle along with his two back riders from south direction while the multicab driven by Regenio was traversing from the opposite direction.

Upon reaching the place of the accident, the multicab swerved and overshot towards the opposite lane hitting the motorcycle. The two vehicles collided head on.

Emergency responders rushed Luntad and his back rider Sonny Boy Gali to the nearby Narra Municipal Hospital but were pronounced dead-on arrival (DOA) by the attending physician while the other back rider, Sika Gali, sustained several injuries and is now being treated for recovery.

Fortunately, cab driver Eugenio did not sustain any injury and was brought to Narra Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.
