Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Palawan Provincial Office arrested two local high-value targets (HVT) in Teachers Village, Golden Valley, Barangay Sicsican, in a buy-bust operation around 8:00 PM yesterday, August 10.
A spot report obtained by Palawan Daily identified the suspects as Jobel Silvestre, a local fashion designer and Ric Rod Aguilon, jobless, both residents of this city and were target-listed and considered HVT by the operatives.
Confiscated from the suspects were 0.3 grams of suspected “shabu,” a P500 peso bill as buy-bust money, four pieces of P500 peso bills declared as boodle money, and a cellular phone.
Both arrested persona are now under the custody of the agency. A case for violation of RA 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act is now being prepared against them.
