Pulis, sugatan sa pananambang sa San Vicente

Sugatan ang isang alagad ng batas sa naganap na pananambang sa So. Itabiak, Brgy. New Agutaya, San Vicente, Palawan pasado alas otso kagabi.

Kinilala ang biktima na si Patrolman Jayson Javarez Catanduanes na miyembro ng 2nd Palawan Provincial Mobile Force (PMFC) na nagtamo umano ng sugat sa ulo nang madaplisan ng bala sa bahaging iyon ng kanyang katawan.

Ayon sa spot report ng Provincial Police Office (PPO), habang binabagtas ng convoy ng 2nd PMFC ng Palawan PPO na binubuo ng limang grupo ang kahabaan ng nabanggit na lugar bandang alas otso y media ng gabi kahapon at patungo na sana sa insertion point upang magsagawa ng Internal Security Operations sa San Vicente-Taytay area nang tambangan umano sila ng mga armadong indibidwal na pinaniniwalaang mga miyembro ng Communist Terrorist Groups (CTGs).

Pinaulanan umano sila ng bala ng di pa batid na bilang na mga kasapi ng CTGs ngunit agad din naman umanong nakaganti ng putok ang tropa ng PNP habang lumalayo sa pinangyarihan ng insidente.

Kaagad din umanong nag-regroup ang PNP members at sabay-sabay na pinaulanan ng bala ang direksyon kung saan unang nagmula ang pamamaril.

Agad naman umanong nag-reinforce sa kanila ang mga tropa ng 401st Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB) at ang Itabiak Detachment ng Philippine Marines.

Sa kabutihang-palad ayon sa naunang impormasyon ng mga otoridad, nasa stable condition na rin umano ang wounded-in-action na si Pat. Cataduanes.

Matatandaan naman bandang alas onse onse kagabi nang unang kumpirmahin ni San Vicente Mayor Amy Alvarez ang naganap na ambush sa grupo ng pulisya na nagsilbing COVID-19 frontliners sa kanilang munsipyo.

Samantala, habang sinusulat naman ang balitang ito ay nagpapatuloy ang ginagawang imbestigasyon ng mga kinauukulan hinggil sa insidente.
