A man listed as the Rank No.1 Most Wanted Person in Palawan was apprehended by authorities in Barangay Tiniguiban, Puerto Princesa City on June 10.

The arrested individual, known as “Anton,” 28, single, and a resident of Brgy. New Guinlo, Taytay, Palawan, was taken into custody by personnel from the Taytay Municipal Police Station (MPS) in coordination with the Provincial Intelligence Unit of Palawan Police Provincial Office (PIU-PALPPO), the 2nd Palawan Provincial Mobile Force Company (PPMFC), and other units.

The arrest was made pursuant to a Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Judge Paul B. Jagmis Jr. of RTC Branch 95, Roxas, Palawan. ‘Anton’ was wanted for violating Section 5, Article II of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

No bail was recommended by the court for the suspect, who is now under the custody of Taytay MPS.
