Iniulat ng isang opisyal ng Palawan State University (PSU) ang isang insidente ng robbery sa bahagi ng Brgy. Sta. Monica.

Sa post ni Venzon Limpiada, pasado 7:00 pm kagabi nang madaanan niya ang dalawang mag-aaral sa kolehiyo sa kanto ng Pajara malapit sa WPU-Puerto Princesa Campus main gate. At nang kanyang tanungin ay emosyunal aniyang isinalaysay ng isa sa kanila na  sapilitang kinuha ng dalawang kalalakihang riding-in-tandem ang kanyang cellular phone.

Ayon pa umano sa biktima, hinabol niya ang mga suspek na sakay ng motorsiklo upang subukang mabawi ang kanyang cellphone na naging dahilan upang sila ay matumba ngunit binantaan umano siya ng mga iyon na babarilin siya kapag hindi tumigil sa kanyang ginagawa.

“The penetrators however quickly recover towards driving and threatened the victim that they shoot him if he persists. Frightened, the victim stopped and the two riding in tandem quickly rode off,” ani Limpiada.

Sinabi naman umano ng nabanggit na mga teenagers na naiulat na nila ito sa kapitan ng Brgy. Sta. Monica.

“Let this be a warning to every citizen of Palawan. Tightened and worsening living conditions brought by the pandemic and similar cases will most invariably precipitate local crimes. I hope the local government do something about this,” ang paalaala pa ni Limpiada.

Paalaala  pa niya sa publiko na doblehin ang pag-iingat at pagmamatiyag sa panahon ngayon.
