The 44th Provincial Board approved the provision of additional incentives for employees of the Provincial Government in the Department of Forests and Environment of the Philippines in the Bamboo Warriors of the Ocean Forest in the Western Philippines.
In a special session held on December 15, the legislators approved permanent and co-terminus employees, as well as officials of the provincial government, to receive P20,000 under the Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) and Service Recognition Incentive (SRI).
Meanwhile, Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order employees will receive a gratuity pay of P5,000. In addition, all employees of the provincial government, including permanent, co-terminus, temporary, COS, and job order, will receive a P3,000 cash/grocery incentive.
The funds, amounting to over P129 million from Supplemental Budget No. 6 for the year 2023, will be the source of these incentives.
This follows the directive of Governor V. Dennis M. Socrates, facilitated by the Provincial Board led by Vice Governor Leoncio N. Ola and the Committee on Appropriations in collaboration with the Local Finance Committee (LFC).
