Rizal town’s fisherfolk receive support with boat donations

The Municipal Agriculture Office in Rizal town handed out important tools to Fisherfolk Associations in eleven (11) barangays on Monday, December 11.

Members from various Fisherfolk Associations happily received Fiber Glass boats with engines, offering vital support for their daily work.

Former Senator Kiko Pangilinan generously funded this initiative, with collaborative efforts from Congressman Jose C. Alvarez and the Municipal Agriculture Office-Rizal.

The distribution event, led by Mayor Norman S. Ong and attended by key figures like Mr. Edgar Monte, Vice Mayor Maria Gracia Zapanta, SB Kim Apostol, SB Zaldy Magbanua, (BFAR) Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources MIMAROPA Region, Mr. Peter Bravante (MAO Head), and Ramil Majestad (Aquacultural Tech. Il), were also present during the turn-over ceremony.
