Palawan PNP Spokesperson Captain Ric Ramos confirmed the arrest of three suspects including a bar owner in El Nido, Palawan in connection with the death of a 17-year-old girl.

The suspects were identified as Judy Ann Napalit Manco, Pierre Jane Loredo and a certain Kris Samantha Barrios.

According to Ramos, all three are now facing murder charges in relation to child abuse or Republic Act 7610.

“I can confirm that sa arrest nila but hindi ako pwede magbigay ng further details since minor ang victim dito,” Ramos said in an interview.

The story was first read in the Facebook post of “Isarog Radio Broadcasting” that circulated on social media and went viral.

It reported that the victim was first kidnapped and mauled by two girls while on board a tricycle and was accused of being a mistress.

Few hours later, the victim went home vomiting blood and was rushed to the hospital where she died after.

A source from El Nido said that Manco is the owner of Pukka Bar and had a conversation with the victim prior to the incident.

Meanwhile, the suspects are now detained at the provincial jail after the inquest proceedings last Saturday.
