Brgy. Salvacion sa Bayan ng Busuanga, idineklarang ‘Critical Zone’

Maghihigpit lalo sa Brgy. Salvacion, Busuanga matapos itong ideklarang critical zone dahil sa 3 indibidwal na nagpositibo sa COVID-19 virus nitong Linggo, Marso 28, 2021.

“Ang [Brgy.] Salvacion ay masyado po ‘yung paghihigpit po natin dito dahil nga po nandito po ‘yung mga cases. Kung ibabase po natin doon sa Zoning Containment Strategy ng IATF [Inter-Agency Task Force] eh nasa critical zone ang Salvacion dahil mayroon po tayong 3 cases.” Ayon kay Busuanga Municipal Information Officer Jonathan Dabuit.

Noong Marso 26, 2021 ay nagsagawa ng Antigen test sa 16 na indibidwal at naging reactive ang 2 indibidwal dito. Isinailalim pa rin ang lahat sa RT-PCR test bilang confirmatory test at lumabas na 3 ang positibo sa COVID-19.

“Kasi ‘yung 2 ay nagpakita ng symptoms [ng COVID-19] tapos isinubmit nila ‘yung sarili nila sa atin for checking. So nung nakita po ng mga medical authorities natin na meron pong ganung symptoms sila ay in-antigen test na sila. Not necessarily confirmatory ang antigen pero that will also tell [kung ang isang indibidwal ay positibo o negatibo sa virus].”

“Ang [mga] in-antigen test, nag-negative man o nag-positive, lahat po ‘yun sinubject natin ‘yun sa swab test. Kumuha ng swab test specimen at it turns out [na] yung 1 nag-negative sa antigen ay nag-positive bigla sa RT-PCR. At ‘yun nga ang naging resulta, 3 nga ang nag-positive out of 16.”

Sa ngayon ay inaalam pa rin ng mga awtoridad kung mayroong travel history ang 3 ‘index patient’ upang matukoy kung paano at kanino ang mga ito nahawa.

“Inaalam pa natin pero yung isa kasi ay hindi natin ma-determine ‘no. I think we need to work it out. Kasi ngayon we are still contact tracing nga and makukuha natin ‘to kung saan ‘yung pinanggalingan talaga. Aalamin pa rin namin. We are working with other authorities to determine po ‘yung lahat ng kanilang travel history.”

Kasalukuyan naman ipinagbabawal ang lahat ng mass gatherings tulad ng meetings at pagsimba upang maiwasan ang pagdagsa ng mga tao at pagtaas ng COVID cases sa munisipyo ng Busuanga.

“Buong Busuanga po ‘yung mass gatherings na wala muna. Ngayon po ay ipinagbawal po muna ng MPS lahat ng mass gatherings [tulad ng] lamay, simba, birthday [at] ball games mga ganun. Lahat-lahat po ng gatherings po bawal muna po until na matapos ang contact tracing and mai-clear na rin po yung Busuanga.”

“Pero hindi po bawal yung paghahanap buhay [o] pagtatrabaho. Kailangan lang natin i-implement ‘yung ating minimum health standards at saka yung protocols po natin as guidelines na pinalabas ng DOH atsaka IATF.”

Samantala, patuloy na isinasagawa ang contact tracing sa mga nakasalamuha ng mga index patients at inaasahan na aabutin ito ng 5 araw.

“Sa index patient po 1 and 2 ‘yung 16. Ang index 3 ay ginagawa ngayon. Nakapag-swab na ngayon yung mga close contacts nung sa Index 3. Tapos yung 1 and 2 continuing pa. Baka siguro mga 3 to 5 days ang gagawin natin na contact tracing. Kasalukuyang contact tracing ay nasa 1st generation.”
