The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) dismissed reports of an alleged aircraft crash in Barangay Tagumpay, Roxas, Palawan, early Wednesday morning, August 13.

“The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) denies circulating reports regarding an alleged aircraft crash in Roxas, Palawan,” CAAP said in a press release this morning.

CAAP also stated that all operating flights within Palawan have been monitored, with no incidents, emergencies, or distress recorded.

“All flights operating within Palawan and its surrounding areas have been fully accounted for, with no incidents, emergencies, or distress calls reported.”

Furthermore, upon coordination with air traffic controllers, airline operators, and local authorities, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines’ (CAAP) Philippine Aeronautical Rescue Coordination Center (PARCC) conducted a verification and found no aircraft missing or involved in any mishap.

CAAP also urged the public to obtain information from official sources and refrain from spreading unverified reports.
