The Provincial Government of Palawan has unveiled its newly completed 3-storey office complex within the Provincial Capitol Compound.
This state-of-the-art building signifies a major leap in enhancing public services across the region, aligning with the government’s commitment to modernizing infrastructure.
The Provincial Engineering Office (PEO) proudly announced that this new structure will serve as the central hub for five key government departments.
On the ground floor, the PEO will house its operations, while the 2nd floor will host the Provincial Human Resource Management Office (PHRMO) and the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPA). Moving up to the 3rd floor, it will be dedicated to the Provincial Legal Office (PLO) and the Provincial Economic Enterprise Development Office (PEEDO).
According to the Provincial Information Office (PIO), this project received a total funding allocation of P29 million, divided into three essential phases: Construction of the Three-Story Building, Additional Works in the Three-Story Building (including tilework and electrical enhancements), and Establishment of Five Offices within the Three-Story Building within the Provincial Capitol Complex.
The relocation of the PEO to the new building is just the first step in this transformative initiative. In the coming months, other departments are expected to follow suit, promising a brighter and more efficient future for public services in the province.
