The Department of Labor and Employment – MIMAROPA (DOLE MIMAROPA), in partnership with DOLE-Palawan, convened representatives from the Palawan Construction Industry Tripartite Council (PALAWAN CITC), comprising various construction firms in the province on Monday, October 16, at the VJR Hall in the Capitol building.
The objective of this gathering was to strengthen their management practices and enhance their knowledge of the rights of construction workers in accordance with DOLE policies.
Discussions covered various Department Orders (DOs), the Construction Safety and Health Program, and the DOLE Kabuhayan Program.
Additionally, the Palawan CITC, led by DOLE Palawan, held a meeting to review their Constitution and By-Laws.
In attendance were representatives from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Provincial Engineering Office (PEO), and Provincial Public Employment Service Office (PESO).
