The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) – Palawan 2nd District Engineering Office (DEO) is proud to announce the successful completion of a transformative road construction endeavor in Barangay Sandoval, Narra, Palawan.

The project, which spanned 0.8 kilometers, included the construction of a durable cement concrete pavement, essential gravel shoulders, and a reinforced concrete pipe culvert, among other vital improvements.

One of the most commendable features of the project is the incorporation of an advanced drainage system designed to bolster disaster resilience within the community.

The innovative drainage system is poised to protect residents from flooding and water accumulation, especially during the onset of heavy rainfall, further ensuring the safety and security of the Barangay Sandoval neighborhood.

The benefit of the road infrastructure extends far beyond enhanced accessibility. With improved connectivity, the residents of Barangay Sandoval now enjoy safer and more efficient travel, gaining swift access to crucial facilities and services.

Moreover, the project’s completion is expected to spark a noticeable surge in economic activity, contributing to the overall growth and prosperity of the area.
