EKSLUSIBO: Dugong, natagpuang patay sa dalampasigan ng Araceli, Palawan

Patay na nang matagpuan ang isang dugong sa dalampasigan ng Barangay Poblacion, Araceli nitong umaga lamang, ika-26 ng Pebrero.

Ayon kay Divina P. Ventilacion, municipal agriculturist ng Araceli, may tumatagas na dugo sa ilong at bibig ng dugong pero wala namang indikasyon na ito ay may sugat sa kaniyang katawan.

“Wala siyang sugat. Ang inisyal na tinitingnan namin na may dugo ay nasa kaniyang tenga, mata at ilong. May blood ooze. So yun naman ang palatandaan na initially ang kaniyang intestine nabubulok na siya,” saad ni Ventilacion.

Aniya, kahapon ay napapansin na ng mga residente na may pabalik balik na dugong malapit sa dalampisagan ng barangay.

“Palutang lutang po siya kahapon sa malapit lang. pero kaninang umaga ay nakitang patay na siya,” dagdag ni Ventilacion.

May isang residente na papalaot sana kaninang umaga pero nakita niya ang dugong ay patay na. Dali dali naman itong naireport sa pulisya at sa kaniyang tanggapan.

Dagdag ni Ventilacion na tinatayang mga nasa 465 kilos ang nasabing dugo. Nakipag-ugnayan na rin sila sa WWF- Philippines na may nakabase din sa kanilang bayan para ito ay ma dokumento.

Para ma sigurado na hindi na ito kakainin ng mga residente, kanila itong ililibing sa kanilang sementeryo.
“Babalutin namin sya at ilibing sa semeteryo. Lalagyan ng kemikal at precaution na hindi na siya pwedeng kainin. At maglalagay kami ng placard,” saad ni Ventilacion.

Matatandaan na nitong nakalipas na taon, may nakita din na patay na dugong at kanila rin itong nailibing subalit kinalaunan ay nawala na ang buong katawan nito. Possible umanong kinuha o kinain ng mga residente.
