Nagsagawa ng Pagkakalooban para sa apat na Samahan sa Programang sustainable livelihood program (SLP) mula sa Aborlan, Palawan noong Agosto 2.

Ang nasabing pagkakalooban ay pinangunahan ni Punong Bayan Jaime Ortega, kasama ang kinatawan mula sa Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) na si Hernan Cayaon, ang mga Kawani ng Proyektong Pagpapaunlad ng SLP (PDOs), at ang mga lider at miyembro ng bawat asosasyon.

Sa kanilang mga mensahe, ipinakita ni Punong Bayan Ortega ang kahalagahan ng pagpapalaganap ng natanggap na pondo at inudyok ang mga kasapi ng SLPAs na gamitin ito nang wasto upang mapalago ang kanilang mga negosyo at matulungan ang kanilang mga pamilya.

Kasama rin sa aktibidad ang mga proyektong itataguyod ng bawat asosasyon. May mga proyektong pangangalaga ng baboy ang Maligaya SLPA at Sipag SLPA. Sa kabilang banda, napili ng Deltag SLPA ang magtayo ng tindahan ng bigas, at ang Sexy Fourteen SLPA naman ay magbubukas ng karinderya.

“Bukod sa pagkakalooban ng puhunan, naganap din ang isang sesyon ukol sa kaalaman sa pinansyal na pinangunahan ni Moises Daniel Aban, Pangunahing Tagapagtaguyod ng Pagpapaunlad sa SLP Palawan. Mayroon ding oryentasyon tungkol sa Gender and Development (GAD) na isinagawa ni Aileen Waban, RSW, Kawani sa Kagawaran ng Kagalingan Panlipunan ng MSWDO.

Ang SLP ay isang programa ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) na layong palakasin ang mga kakayahan at kasanayan ng mga benepisyaryo upang magkaroon ng matatag na kabuhayan sa pamamagitan ng pagnenegosyo o pagtatrabaho.
