Mga taga-Aborlan, bawal muna bumiyahe patungo sa Puerto Princesa

Bawal muna bumiyahe patungong Puerto Princesa ang mga taga-Aborlan. Ito ang napagkasunduang solusyon ng lokal na pamahalaan ng Aborlan sa pangamba na magkaroon ng mga kumpirmadong kaso ng COVID-19 sa bayan.

“Ipinagbabawal na rin namin yung, hangga’t maaari, pagpunta sa Puerto [Princesa City] for the mean time not unless na emergency and APOR, yun na lang,” saad ni Aborlan Municipal Health Officer (MHO) Dr. Fidel Vasquez Salazar.

Kaugnay ito ng Executive Order No. 21-012 ni Aborlan Mayor Celsa B. Adier, para ipatupad ang mas mahigpit na mga health and safety protocols kabilang na ang pagkuha ng travel pass.

“Lilimitahan ang mga papayagang magbiyahe sa Puerto Princesa City. Tanging mga APOR at may emergency at medical na pangangailangan lamang ang papayagan. Kinakailangang kumuha ng Barangay Certification bago makakuha ng Travel Pass sa MDRRMO mula Lunes hanggang Sabado. Ipakita ang Travel Pass at I.D. sa municipal checkpoint sa Bgy. Isaub at ibabalik din ito sa checkpoint pagtapos ng biyahe. Kumuha ng Travel Pass isang araw bago ang biyahe. Ang biyahe patunong Puerto Princesa City ay mula alas singko ng madaling araw hanggang alas otso ng gabi. Kapag sumobra sa 24 hours ay sasailalim sa Home Quarantine.”

Matatandaan na noong Pebrero 19, 2021, napag-alaman ng mga awtoridad na bumiyahe pauwi ng Aborlan ang isang close contact ng index case mula sa Barangay San Jose, Puerto Princesa City na kalaunan ay nagpositibo sa COVID-19.

Dagdag pa ni Dr. Salazar, kapansin-pansin ang pagbaba umano ng bilang ng mga bumabiyahe dahil sa mga kinakailangang dokumento bago papayagang umalis at kabilang dito ang pagkakaroon ng mabigat na dahilan.

“Malaki ang binaba ng mga nagbabiyahe. Sino ba naman ang makakapagbiyahe na walang Travel Pass sa amin? So, bago ka mabigyan ng Travel Pass [ay] kailangan may Barangay Certificate ka na [nagsasabi na] puwede kang payagan [bumiyahe] na ang dahilan ay medical emergency mga ganun. Pero kung wala niyan, hindi ka makakalabas [ng Aborlan o] makakabiyahe.”
Samantala, wala namang naitalang nagpositibo sa virus mula sa bayan ng Aborlan matapos lumabas ang RT-PCR test sa mga close contact ng nagpositibo.
