To enhance healthcare services for the people of Palawan, the Provincial Engineering Office (PEO) continues to make significant progress on the construction of a three-story Medical Arts Building at Aborlan Medicare Hospital in the town of Aborlan.
Valued at P9.9 million, this vital project, under the stewardship of the Provincial Government of Palawan led by Governor V. Dennis M. Socrates, aims to further elevate the quality of healthcare services available to Palaweños.
The new building will host additional beds for the hospital, meeting the growing demands of the community. Moreover, the building’s rooftop will be utilized as a facility for air ambulance services, ensuring swift medical transport when needed.
The Medical Arts Building will offer a wide range of essential healthcare functions and services. Including Specialized Clinics, Diagnostic Facilities, Outpatient Services, and Pharmacy and Medical Supplies.
According to the PEO, the project has reached an impressive 50% completion rate since it commenced on June 7, 2023. It is anticipated to conclude on December 3, 2023, marking a significant milestone in the province’s healthcare infrastructure development.
It is expected to play a vital role in expanding the horizons of healthcare in Palawan, ensuring that residents receive quality medical care close to home.
