Palawan PDRRMC continues to monitor Typhoon Ursula

The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council of Palawan is on full alert, monitoring the movement and effects of Typhoon Ursula as it passes through the northern part of the Palawan and the Calamian Group of Islands.

According to the official Facebook post of PDRRMC Palawan, the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) of the PDRRMC of Palawan has been monitoring the typhoon since yesterday.

“Situational Reports composed of consolidated data from the members of the council and their counterparts in the municipalities in Palawan are issued every four hours. The EOC has been activated at 1300H yesterday, 24 December 2019.” the post added.

Typhoon Ursula with an international name of Phanfone ravaged the Eastern and Central Visayas regions causing massive flooding and damaged several houses.

The typhoon is the 21st typhoon to hit the country this 2019.
