Team Pilipinas led track and field competition and most of its athletes came from Palawan.

Francis Nemenzo of the Provicial Sports Office said that they are very proud of the athletes from Palawan to be among the 91 athletes in Philippine delegation.

Overall, the Philippine delegation got 31 golds, 51 silver and 34 bronze medals. The provincial government thru Provincial Sports Office is now preparing for the Batang Pinoy Competition next month.
