12 kahon na naglalaman ng mga isda na huli sa paputok, nasabat sa airport

Nasabat ng Fisheries Inspection and Quarantine Service (FIQS) unit ng Bureau Of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) sa cargo area ng Puerto Princesa International Airport noong Lunes ang 12 kahon na naglalaman ng iba’t ibang uri ng isda na natuklasang hinuli sa pamamagitan ng dinamita na nakatakda na sanang ibiyahe sa Maynila.

Sa report ng BFAR MIMAROPA, kinilala ang may-ari ng mga isda na si Susan Magdatu na posibleng mahaharap sa administrative charge dahil sa paglabag sa Section 126 ng Republic Act 10654 o An Act to Prevent, Deter and Eliminate Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated Fishing, amending Republic Act no. 8550 o Philippine Fisheries Code of 1998.
Nasabat ang mga kahon – kahon na isda sa a pangunguna ni Krismon Almonte ng FIQS matapos na makumpirma na ang mga isda na tinatayang nasa 600 kilo ay huli sa pamamagitan ng explosives o dinamita.

Dahil dito, isinailalim sa usual at regular procedure ang ginawang pagkumpiska sa mga isda sa pangunguna ni Mario Basaya, OIC Ng Provincial Fishery Office For Southern Palawan. I-tinurn-over sa Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) ang mga nakumpiskang isda.
