Tumanggap ng parangal ang 3rd Marine Brigade sa pamumuno ni Brigadier General Jimmy D. Larida bilang Best Marine Brigade of the Year ng Flag Officer in Command (FOIC), Philippine Navy (PN) streamer at Plaque of Merit, kasabay ng pagdiwang ng 124th Philippine Navy anniversary celebration sa Headquarters Philippine Navy, Roxas Boulevard, Manila, kahapon ika-20 ng Mayo.
Simula 2020 hangang 2022 na sunod-sunod na accomplishment ng mga kasundaluhan sa kanilang magandang adhikain sa pagsugpo sa Communist Terrorist Group at sa tulong at tiwala ng mga kababayan.
“This achievement is dedicated to all the officers and personnel of 3rd Marine Brigade and its OPCON units, to the partner government agencies and stakeholders, and especially to the trust given to us by the people and the community we serve and fight for,” ayon kay Larida.
Nagpapasalamat naman si Larida simula sa pamumuno ni Major General Charlton Sean M Gaeran PN (M) at Major General Nestor C Herico PN (M) simula 2020 at 2021 sa patuloy na pagsuporta sa 3rd Marine Brigade.
“As predecessors for best marine brigade for the year 2020, 2021. Moreover, for their untiring support and guidance in raising the standard of this unit and especially for their outstanding leadership,” dagdag ni Larida.
Ang pagbigay ng parangal at pinangunahan ni Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana at Philippine Navy FOIC Vice Admiral Adeluis S Bordado.
