In a bid to avoid the spread of false information pertaining the 2019 Novel Coronavirus Acute Respiratory Disease (2019 nCoV ARD), the Department of Health (DOH) in the region advised the public Thursday to access their official websites for legitimate updates.

DOH MIMAROPA Center for Health Development (CHD) Health and Promotion Officer (HEPO) Romalyn Racho told Palawan Daily News (PDN) Thursday, February 6, they are encouraging the public to verify information using their official social media pages and website.

Racho said the public may access www.doh.gov.ph/2019nCov or directly go to “Department of Health Philippines” Facebook page for necessary advisories.

She added the public in the region may also visit their official Facebook page at “Department of Health Center for Health Development MIMAROPA” and personal Facebook account at “DOH CHD HEPU MIMAROPA”.
