“As chairman of the Senate committee on health we just passed the Universal Health Care Law that’s a landmark legislation that’s one good news that I’m bringing to Palawan right now na pagkatapos ng Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) anytime soon mapapakinabangan rin na ng lahat dahil land mark ito dahil ibig sabihin nito lahat ng Pilipino, basta Pilipino ka ay automatic gagawing myembro ng PhilHealth, everybody will be covered by National Health Insurance lahat aakuan ng assistance,” pahayag ni Ejercito

“We want to strengthen the primary care and preventive side of the universal health care law kasi very important yan kesa lumala ang sakit dapat regular ang check ups kaya lng very prohibitive ang laboratory test at doctor kaya bihira ang nag papacheck up ng regular kaya ang magandang balita through the Universal Health Care law checkups and basic laboratory test will now be also covered by PhilHealth so libre na [checkups and basic laboratory test] taon-taon pwede na,”.
