Four nabbed in Narra buy-bust

Four suspected drug suspects were arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by the joint personnel of Narra Municipal Police Station, Palawan Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) MIMAROPA around 6PM Sunday, November 24, in Sitio Caraniogan, Barangay Malinao, Narra, Palawan.

A spot report from authorities identified the suspects as Emer Peralta, 48 years old, printing shop owner; Ernani Vidad, 39 years-old, painter; and brothers Herbert Rubio and Hener Rubio, both of legal age, welders, all residents of Narra.

Investigation revealed that suspect Vidad allegedly sold one piece of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet believed to be shabu to a poseur-buyer during the buy-bust operation.

Also recovered from the suspect was one pack of cigarette containing thirteen (13) pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets believed to be shabu, one (1) piece P500 mark money, one (1) piece lighter, and one tricycle unit.

Authorities also recovered from suspect Herbert Rubio are three (3) pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet believed to be shabu, P400 peso money, and one (1) unit of smartphone.

The suspects are now under the custody of Palawan Provincial Police Office (PPO) in Puerto Princesa City for proper disposition and is subjected for a case in violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.
