Nakipagpulong ngayong araw, September 26, 2019 si National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Palawan Division Manager Engr. Conrado V. Cardenas, Jr. kay 3rd District Representative Atty. Gil ‘Kabarangay Jr’ A. Acosta.

Ayon sa tanggapan ni Acosta, ito ay para pag-usapan ang mga proyektong patubig sa Puerto Princesa at sa Bayan ng Aborlan dahil isa ang agrikultura sa mga pinapahalagahang sector ng Kongresista.

Sa pulong, tiniyak daw ni Engr Cardenas kay Acosta na maayos na matatapos ang nasimulan nang Terruvian Intake Dam para sa Lucbuan Small Irrigation Project (SIP) sa Puerto Princesa na mayroong pondo na nagkakahalagang P30,000,000.

Sinabi pa umano ni Engr Cardenas na ang proyekto ay inaasahang mapapakinabangan ng halos 75 na magsasaka sa Barangay Lucbuan dahil mapapatubigan nito ang nasa 100 ektarya ng sakahan sa taong 2020.

Nakadesenyo rin daw ang naturang dam bilang typhoon resistant kaya inaasahang magagamit ito sa mahabang panahon ng mga magsasaka.
