Palawan PNP scores against wanted personalities with different cases in the province on Valentine’s Day under its Operation Lipon done by all municipal police stations.
Police Captain Ric Ramos, spokesperson of Palawan Police Provincial Office, said that around 20 wanted persons were arrested in just one day including some of the most wanted persons in Palawan.
“Marami po tayong huli na mga dati nang wanted at ngayon ay mapapanagot na sila sa batas,” Ramos said in an interview.
In Quezon, local police arrested Ryan Alcontin Quicson, 28, farmer and a resident of Sitio Pinanag, Barangay Tagusao where he was arrested.
Quicson is Rank No. 9 in the Most Wanted Persons in Quezon, Palawan who is facing robbery case.
PNP Rizal also arrested the Number 8 Most Wanted Person in the municipality under Manhunt Charlie.
Jay-Ar Elidiros Catacata, 24 and resides at Purok Tagbuaya, Barangay Quinlogan is charged with violation of Section 10 of Republic Act 7610.
Linapacan police also arrested Janno Agustin Bering, 23, fisherman and a resident of Barangay Maroyogroyog where he was arrested.
Bering ranked No. 4 Most Wanted Person in the municipality who is facing two counts of attempted homicide.
Four persons were also arrested in Sitio Marabon, Barangay Bancalaan in Balabac for the Violation of RA 10863 or Customs Modernization and Tariff Act.
The suspects were identified as Karim Innoh Hasim, 35, Jiya Doro Hasin, 57 and Harul Ismael Hasim, 29, all residents of the aforementioned place.
Wanted personalities for Violation of PD 705 or Revised Forestry Code of the Philippines were also arrested in Dumaran and Roxas, respectively.
Fisherman Gino Dela Peña Chavez, 44, was arrested in Barangay Ilian in Dumaran while Rolly Anoche Olete, 49, Joart Debuyan Sarmiento, 40 and Leo Magallanes Delos Angeles were arrested by the local police in Barangay Abaroan, Roxas Palawan.
A rape suspect was also arrested under Operation Lipon in Barangay Panitian, Sofronio Española last February 14.
The suspect was identified as Jamal Janalon Musa, 66, farmer and a resident of Sitio Bulho, Barangay Calasaguen in Brooke’s Point.
In Taytay, three wanted personalities were arrested for the crime of attempted murder.
A certain Edgar Gadiano Flores, 39 and a resident of Barangay Alimanguan, San Vicente was arrested in Barangay Bato while Alvin Valdez Daluyon, 23 and Joseph Jagmis Come were both arrested in Barangay Maytegued of the said municipality.
Taytay MPS also arrested Japhet Managbanag Magsipoc, 28, farmer and a resident of Barangay Poblacion who is facing carnapping charges.
Local police in Coron, Aborlan, Cuyo, Culion and Busuanga also arrested wanted persons in their area of responsibility.
Ramos said that this accomplishments were the result of intensified campaign of Palawan Police Provincial Office against wanted personalities in the province.
