Poll worker to receive pay in 15 days

The Provincial COMELEC releases a computation of honoraria and allowances today May 12, 2022, to be received by the poll workers this past election.

According to Provincial COMELEC Spokesperson Jomel Ordas they shall receive their honoraria and allowances within 15 days starting from the date of the election.

“As per RA 10756 (Election Service Reform Act), as implemented by COMELEC Resolution No. 10727, poll workers shall be paid their honoraria and allowances within 15 days from the date of the election. Any person who makes or causes a delay in the payment beyond 15 days shall be liable for an election offense.”

“A minimum of 5 days service credit shall accrue to all government officials and employees who served as an electoral board, deso, medical personnel and support staff.”

Other benefits:

  1. Death benefits – 500,000
  2. Medical Assistance –

200,000

  1. Legal Indemnification

Package – 50,000.
