Ngayong araw ng Lunes, November 16, 2020, ay muling ipatutupad ang kautusan ng Department of the Interior Local Government (DILG) na road clearing operations sa buong bansa. Ito ang kinumpirma kanina ni Atty. Virgilio L. Tagle DILG Provincial Director, sa programang News Room ng Palawan Daily News.

“Nationwide ito November 16, muli ipagpapatuloy ang implementation ng road clearing operations yan ay ayon sa direktiba ng DILG central office,” ani Tagle.

Nagbigay na umano sya ng instruction sa mga field officer sa mga munisipyo kung ano ang dapat gawin sa road clearing operations at naniniwala ang opisyal na ngayon ay mas maayos na ang pagpapatupad nito ng mga Local Government Unit.

“Sa ngayon, may instruction tayo sa ating mga field officer… natatandaan ko noon may dalawang bayan ang nabigyan ng show cause order dahil hindi naka-comply pero hopefully sa ngayon sa cure na yung problema na yan,” pahayag ni Tagle.

Inamin din ng opisyal na sa ngayon ay wala pa silang schedule para mabisita ang mga munisipyo sa lalawigan pero magsasagawa naman ang kanilang mga tauhan na nasa munisipyo ng inspection kung nasusunod ba ang guidelines kaugnay sa road clearing.

“Sa ngayon, ang Provincial level ay wala pang schedule magpunta sa bayan-bayan para magconduct ng inspection pero yung mga field officers natin sa bawat munisipyo ay in place na at pinatutupad na nila ngayon ito, sinisimulan na nila na ma-insure na na-comply itong guidelines natin sa road clearing operations,” muling pahayag ni Tagle.

Samantala nilinaw ni Tagle na layunin nito ay magamit ng maayos ang kalsada at maalis ang mga nakaharang sa mga sidewalk.

“Yun pa rin ang panuntunan natin, ma clear ang kalsada ng mga illegal park vehicles ganun din yung sidewalk natin, sa atin yung sidewalk mabakante lang at madaanan ng tao iko-consider na natin yun,” karagdagang pahayag ni Tagle.
