Total lockdown, ipinatupad sa Brgy. Sto. Tomas sa Bayan ng Dumaran

Isinailalim sa total lockdown ang Brgy. Sto. Tomas sa Bayan ng Dumaran simula kaninang ala una ng hapon bunsod umano ng pagyao ng isang suspected Covid-19 patient na residente ng nasabing lugar.

Ayon kay Dr. Melecio Dy, chief of hospital ng Ospital ng Palawan (ONP), yumao kahapon, Abril 29,  sa kanilang pagamutan ang nasabing pasyente na aniya’y nasa 56 taong gulang. Kinumpirma rin niyang nakunan ng specimen ang pasyente noong Abril 27 at lalabas naman ang resulta, posibleng makalipas ang lima hanggang sampung araw.

Bunsod nito ay agad na ipinag-utos ng mga kinauukulan kaninang hapon ang total lockdown sa pinagmulang barangay bilang bahagi ng pag-iingat at upang maisagawa rin ang contact tracing.

Ang kabiyak naman ng pasyente ay naka-isolate na rin ngayon sa sa isolation room ng Provincial Government.

Tiniyak din ng mga kinauukulan na agad na isinagawa ang pag-cremate sa mga labi ng pasyente.

Mahigpit na rin ang ginagawang pagbabantay ngayon sa exit at entrance ng barangay kasabay ng ipinatupad na extreme lockdown.
