Violators of illegal cockfighting in Aborlan, still at large

Officers from the Aborlan Municipal Police Station (MPS) reportedly found 11 individuals conducting an illegal cockfight in violation of Presidential Decree 449 in Abrea Coconut Farm, Old Barake, Barangay Barake, Aborlan, Palawan last November 1, 2020.

Upon seeing the authorities, the said violators fled from the scene. Despite the efforts of police authorities, they failed to apprehend the violators but were able to recover four pieces of live fighting cocks, four pieces of dead fighting cocks, 16 units of motorcycles and two units of top down tricycle from the area. The recovered evidence were brought to Aborlan MPS for proper disposition.

The violators were identified as:

Nonoy Abrea, 47 years old, married;

Jaycee Navarro, 32 years old, married;

Dindo Ferriol, 42 years old, married;

Rey Malacad a.k.a  Gideon, 28 years old, single;

Arjay Malacad, 38 years old, married;

Badodoy Reño, 38 years old, single;

Dominador Bacaltos, 41 years old, married;

Ruby Perez, 43 years old, married;

Dino Lisag, 45 years old, married;

Rolly Dela Cruz a.k.a Toto, 50 years old, married; and

Payo Tupaz, 46 years old, married.

All are confirmed residents of Aborlan, Palawan and are currently at large.
