Four seminarians who underwent formations and graduated from Theology studies last 2018 were ordained as deacons yesterday, March 10, at St. Isidro the Farmer Parish in Roxas, Palawan.
The 2020 Ordinandi from Apostolic Vicariate of Taytay (AVT) are Rev. Victor Medrina Crujido, Rev. Arnold Milante Mendaro, Rev. Gerald Acuzar Palay and Rev. Jayson Pagayona Latube.
The “Ordination to the Sacred Order of Deacons” was led by Bishop-Emeritus Edgardo S. Juanich as Ordaining prelate and was attended by the deacons’ parents, relatives, friends, priests from Apostolic Vicariate of Puerto Princesa (AVPP) and from other province, and parishioners of the Municipality of Roxas.
Rev. Crujido, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Proceso Crujido, graduated his Theology studies at St. Joseph Regional Seminary in Jaro, Iloilo. He was born in Pangangan, Calape, Bohol but his family moved to Palawan when they were kids and currently residing in Green Island, Tumarbong, Roxas, Palawan.
Rev. Mendrano is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Medrano. He was born in Liminangcong, Taytay, Palawan and finished his Theology studies also from St. Joseph Regional Seminary in Jaro, Iloilo.
Rev. Latube, from Bgy. Tagumpay, Roxas, Palawan is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Latube. He finished his Theology studies at San Carlos Seminary in Makati City while Rev. Palay from Cuyo, Palawan, who is also from San Carlos Seminary, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gaudencio Palay.
This coming September, the newly ordained deacons will be ordained to the priesthood.
