Palawan, nanguna sa 2022 top destinations survey ng AirAsia kahit may pandemya

Nanguna ang Palawan bilang “top destination” sa bansa na gusto pa ring mapuntahan ngayong may pandemya ng mga lokal o domestic na turista ayon sa survey na inilunsand ng pamunuan ng AirAsia sa tulong ng analytics firm na Tangere noong nakaraang buwan.

Ayon sa Air Asia Philippines, 7 sa 10 Pinoy na indibidwal ang pipiliin pa ring bumiyahe kahit na nga sinalubong ng mataas na kaso ng COVID-19 ang bansa sa pagpasok nito sa taong 2022.

Tinatayang 60% ng respondents sa nasabing survey ang mas pipiliing bumiyahe lamang sa loob ng bansa at 40% naman ang gugustohing bumiyahe palabas o internasyunal.

Sa mga domestic na destinasyon sa nasabing survey ay 77% ng mga rumesponde ang bumoto sa Palawan bilang pangunahing destinasyon na gusto nilang mapuntahan kung bibigyan ng pagkakataon. Pumangalawa naman ang Boracay sa 69%, Siargao bilang 57% at Bohol na nasa 52%.

Para naman sa mga ibang bansang nais mapuntahan ng mga biyaherong Pilipino, nanguna ang South Korea na mayroong botong 78%, Singapore bilang 73% at Osaka, Japan na mayroong 71%.

Ayon kay Ricky Isla, executive officer ng Air Asia Philippines, bagaman ay magandang balita ito para sa kanila ay sisiguraduhin umano ng kumpanya na hindi sila magpapabaya sa mga health protocols o panuntunan para sa tuloy pa ring paglaban kontra COVID-19.

“We are not letting our guards down. We will be consistent in prioritizing the safety and well-being of our guests as they fly to their intended destinations,” ani Isla.

Kabilang sa mga planong inilatag ng Air Asia Philippines ngayong taon ay ang pagtatayo ng 24/7 COVID-19 Task Force, at pagdagdag ng mga tauhan o empleyado sa National Capital Region (NCR) na siyang aalalay para sa mga turistang lilipad papunta sa mga probinsya sa bansa.
