Labi ng Palaweña OFW mula Kuwait, dumating na sa Palawan

Wala ng buhay nang umuwi si Kamish Nacasi, 26-taong gulang isang Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) mula sa bansang Kuwait.

Ayon sa kanyang employer, nag pakamatay umano si Kamish, subalit, umalma naman ang pamilya ng OFW na hindi raw ito magagawa ng dalaga.

Sa panayam ng Palawan Daily News sa ama nito na si Bal Nacasi, huli nitong nakausap ang anak noong ika-5 ng Hulyo na pawang masayahin at walang problema.

“Noong time na nag-uusap kami noong July 5, wala siyang binabanggit na kung ano man, kung may problema. Ngayon, nung last conversation [nila] ng anak kong panganay, kasi palagi yan sila eh, sa araw-araw yan, nag-uusap sila eh, kaya wala akong kaba, kumbaga di ako nag-iisip na ano kasi may contact siya palagi, sa mga pinsan niya, sa mga kaibigan,” saad ni Bal.

Ngunit nagtaka na ang pamilya nito nang hindi na ma-contact si Kamish noong ika-12 ng Hulyo.

Nabalitaan lang nila ang pagkasawi ng biktima makalipas ang isang linggo mula sa katrabaho nito.

Nang makausap ng pamilya ang employer, sinabi nitong nakita na lamang nila si Kamish na nakabitin umano at wala nang buhay matapos itong maiwang mag-isa sa bahay nila noong ika-14 ng Hulyo.

“Nagtaka sila, noong [July] 12, wala nang ano [communication]… Di na siya sumasagot sa mga chat. Tinatawagan namin, ayaw na. Ngayon, noong 19, nag decide na ako na tawagan ko na ‘yung employer, kasi may natanggap…pumunta sila dito sa akin, umiiyak. Sabi niya, ‘Pa, nagtext ‘yung kasambahay, yung babae. Sabi niya doon na wag kang mabibigla, dahil si Kamish, wala na, nagbigti raw,” aniya ng ama.

Dagdag pa ng ama, nag-lapse na umano ang kontrata ni Kamish noon pang Disyembre 2018, pero nakiusap ang employer nito na mag-extend siya.

Sa ngayon ay naka-schedule na i-autopsy ang labi ni Kamish sa darating na ika-11 ng Agosto. Nanawagan naman ang pamilya ng OFW sa Department of Foreign Affairs na mapabilis ang imbestigasyon ukol sa pagkamatay ng dalaga.
