A new player in delivery services called Happy App is the latest mobile application in Puerto Princesa where you can order food and have it delivered to your doorstep in real time. The Happiness in this app is inspired by the quarantine feels since March, but conceptualization started last April of this year.

Happy App is not just one mobile application, they have three apps that are intended for riders, merchants and users, and are all available now in App store and Google Play.

“The delivery is the idea of the owner which is Atty. Patrick Tan, for him is to help the community talaga yung people of Palawan, aside pa dun to help the local businesses of Puerto Princesa since itong mga business natin nag de-decline as effect ng pandemic ngayon,” Kenn Brana, Assistant General Manager of Happy App said.

The said Apps services is claiming they are the first Palawan’s home grown streamlined food delivery app that is created by Palawenos, and very much different to other delivery apps that was born during pandemic.

“Happy app is composed of all Palawenos, I mean yung IT, the Developer Palaweno main, lahat po ng members natin Palaweno, it means hindi tayo pumunta ng Manila para ayusin yung apps, kasi po yung Happy App is a streamlined food delivery it means tayo ang pinaka una sa Palawan,” Brana explain

The app according to Brana offers a seamless application for those who want to be riders, all they have to do is make a registration in their Riders apps, while for merchants they are doing a verification process in validating their partners, and they are in the process of welcoming those online sellers as soon as the team decides.

“We have contracts, as of now yan requirements na hinihingi natin sa mga merchants, of course alam nating existing na to, at yung nilalapitan naman ni Happy App alam naman nating matagal na sa restaurants, with regards sa online seller, depende kung ok naman sila, pag uusapan pa namin,” Brana said.

Happy App only charge P45 per delivery within City proper up to Brgy. Irawan in the South, and Brgy. Sta Lourdes in the north road and it’s a fixed rate with no additional charge per distance. Multiple orders is not allowed for now. They have 8 riders actively serving since its grand launching last Aug 3, 2020.

Brana added that their apps have options for contactless transaction with riders and customers for those who worry about their health. The online payment is being processed as well as of this writing. Happy Apps operates Monday to Sunday, from 9 in the morning to 9 in the evening.
