Sa loob ng susunod na tatlong taon, layunin ng Puerto Princesa City Water District (PPCWD) na magkaroon ng koneksyon sa patubig ang tatlong barangay: Bacungan, Mangingisda, at Maruyugon.

Ayon kay Walter Laurel, General Manager ng water district, pangarap nitong magkaroon ng unified water system ang mga northern barangay na may magkakatulad na pinagmulan ng tubig mula Bacungan hanggang Langongan.

“It’s a dream not a plan to interconnect all northern barangays, sharing the same source multiple sources ng tubig. from Bacungan up to Langongan We are trying to achieve it in my term, in the next six years na magkaroon ng unified water system ‘yung ating northern barangays because for a very long time wala talaga silang pipe water supply,” ani Laurel.

Kasalukuyang nasa limampung barangay o 75% ng populasyon ng Puerto Princesa ang nakikinabang sa patubig ng PPCWD. Sa Inagawan source, inaasahan nilang magsusustento ng tubig ang mga barangay tulad ng Kamuning, Inagawan-Sub hanggang Sitio Tacduan. Plinano nilang ipresenta ito kay Punong Lungsod Lucilo Bayron at humingi ng tulong pinansyal para sa malaking kakailanganing pondo.

Sa loob ng tatlong taon, target nilang pondohan ito para sa mga tao sa Inagawan-Sub, kung saan may handang plano na at pera na lang ang kulang.
