The newest food plaza in Puerto Princesa, PAGETEK owned by Palawan Pawnshop Bobby Castro opens recently to satisfy the gastronomic needs of both locals and tourists that suits their palate. It is located along the bustling Rizal Avenue, in what was previously Balinsasayaw.

It is truly a distinctive gastronomic fare that offers a different vibe in a pleasing and cozy ambiance, that guarantees to treats you to a unique and distinctive culinary experience. Inside Pagetek’s food court are variety of food counters/ stalls owned by different food merchants that are offering different types of cuisine including popular resto in town such as Guni-guni, Eatadakimasu, Ka Inato, Nida’s Lechon, among others.

 

 

For those who love to indulge fresh seafoods, there’s kinilaw, the Filipino version of Cheviche. You can find it in Kinilaw Republic that offers this mouthwatering dish inside the Pagetek. Kinilaw not only a uniquely local dish that celebrates the abundance of sea around our islands in this archipelagic country. Of course, who would ignore the moutwatering lechon with its juicy meat and in its crispy and spicy

 

 

There is truly a gastronomic diversity inside Pagetek, where we can choose from Vietnamese, Japanese, and of course distinctively Filipino cuisines, a reflection of its name Pagetek , which means in Cuyunon as “magpakabusog” or indulge to be full.

 

The cashless payment method is available here through Palawan Pay, a mobile wallet app developed by Palawan Pawnshop.

 

This new attraction is such as trendy scene for their eco-friendly, local food. Pagetek made it appealing by designing its food court as airy and welcoming, an eco-friendly design that conserve energy consumption.

 

Its’ eco-friendly restaurant design ideas using bamboos, wood, and other locally sourced materials shows that they want to care for the environment.
