Couples across all genders will have a chance to kiss and run in the first Lavapalooza Fun Run set on Feb 16 at the City Baywalk.
Organized by the Class of 1990 of Puerto Princesa Pilot Elementary School, it is in line with their 30th anniversary with a theme “Tatlong Dekada Na”.
The event aims to have 30 couples or more to experience the love month ambiance as they run and kiss away their proud love story and inspire everyone.
It will benefit the special education program of the said school.
“We would like to encourage couples to celebrate with us and through their participation they support our advocacy for wellness, love, service and team work,” overall coordinator Joane Rabang Mata said in a statement sent to Palawan Daily News.
The fun run will have a registration fee of P600 that comes with runners’ kit but it’s subject to availability depending if you register early.
The first prize will win a couple dinner treat, second place is spa treatment service and the third prize is for a movie date. All finishers will receive a medal and electronic certificates.
“We will endeavour to make this an annual event and our class yearly fund raising to provide support to the special children enrolled in our Alma Mater,” Mata said.
Lavapalooza this Sunday will start at 4 in the morning.
