Pansamantalang nasa pagamutan ang mag-inang Scheer na suspek sa human trafficking matapos mag file ng motion to transfer jurisdiction noong June 13, Lunes, para sa kanilang gamutan.
Sa impormasyon na ipinaabot ni Police Captain Joy Catain DeCastro Iquin, tagapagsalita ng Puerto Princesa City Police Office, matapos ang kanilang Hospital arrest ng mag-ina ay agad din silang ililipat sa Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP).
“For info, this office represented By Police Major Jeffrey Abonales, requests a motion to transfer jurisdiction of the arrested person seeking that he be allowed to transfer the custody of both accused ( Edith & Verena) to BJMP PPCITY. Further, the prosecution interposed no objection to the admission of the accused to the AHP subject to the condition that upon discharge they shall be committed to the City Jail,” saad ni Iquin.
Matatandaan June 6, ganap na 3:50 ng hapon nang arestuhin ng mga awtoridad sa Malvar St., Brgy. Mandaragat, ang mag-inang sina Edith at Verena Scheer, matapos maglabas ng warrant of arrest ang korte laban sa kanilang paglabag sa RA 10364 Qualified Trafficking in person under sec. 4, par. (a) and (e) of RA 10364 in rel tk sec.6 par. c of RA 9208.
