The City Government on Wednesday said the bars in Puerto Princesa are still required to abide by the 10:00 PM curfew and are prohibited from serving liquor to customers until further notice.

He said the ordinance pertaining to the prohibition of public consumption of alcohol or “liquor ban” is still being implemented. However, he said the measure may be addressed by the City Council.

“Ang posisyon ko diyan kasi ordinansa ‘yong curfew pati ‘yong liquor ban,” said Pedrosa.

“Sana by ordinance ay ma-address ng Sangguniang Panlungsod ‘yon,” he added.

Pedrosa further stated that the 10:00 PM curfew remains adding that the City Government is still contemplating on adjusting the curfew from 10:00 PM to 11:00 PM after June 15, and by 12:00 midnight as soon as everything comes back to a much more normal setting.
