A total of P33-million cash incentive will be released by the City Government to its regular employees, job order (JO) workers, contract of service (COS), and barangay health workers.
City Budget Officer (CBO) Regina Cantillo told Palawan Daily News (PDN) Friday morning, December 20, this total budget was already prepared and only awaits full release to its recipients.
However, she also said during the interview Friday morning that the payroll of about 4,500 JO workers, COS, and barangay health workers are still being processed before they could claim their P5,000-each incentive.
Cantillo stated the City Government, since the morning of December 20, had started the over-the-counter release of the around P11-million service recognition incentive (SRI) to its 1,100 qualified regular employees.
Each regular employee will receive a P10,000 SRI, while the JO workers, COS, and barangay health workers will receive P5,000 cash grant each from the City Government.
The City Government earlier planned to just load this cash incentive to the ATM cards and cash cards of the employees, but the system did not permit.
Nawa’y lahat ay maging masaya at healthy and peaceful,” said Cantillo.
