The DILG rated 70 for Puerto Princesa City, considered as low compliance last month, when the 60-day deadline set by President Duterte. Aside from the President’s orders, the DILG also issued a Memorandum Circular on the road clearing in a bid to reclaim public roads from obstructions.

Richard Ligad, city information officer said that they will work for the removal of these obstructions, in an effort to improve the city’s compliance on road clearing.

Ligad also observed that there are even PALECO electric posts neat the city hall, that encroached the road right of way of the public roads.

He further said that the City Mayor have already ordered the concerned department/ office of the city government for the inventory of the street lights in the public roads that caused obstruction.
